At Seniors Respite Montérégie, we are dedicated to providing a supportive environment for seniors with dementia or cognitive impairments. Our team delivers specialized care, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere that enhances the quality of life for each individual through a compassionate, person-centered approach.

We recognize the vital role of caregivers and the challenges they face. As part of a comprehensive support plan, respite care offers caregivers the opportunity to restore their well-being while ensuring their loved ones receive compassionate, professional care in a safe environment. Our mission is to provide much-needed relief, helping caregivers maintain their ability to deliver quality support while promoting a balanced and sustainable caregiving experience.

A DECADE OF CARE AND COMMUNITY

In 2024, Seniors Respite Montérégie marked 10 years of providing vital support to people living with cognitive decline and their caregivers. Since 2014, our day centre has offered a unique and essential English-language service in the region.

That milestone reflected a decade of commitment, resilience and meaningful connections. We remain inspired by the people we serve and grateful for the dedication of our team. Today, we continue building on that foundation and supporting our community.

Day Center

Our Day Center provides respite for caregivers Monday to Friday from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Clients that attend our day center participate in a number of specialized activities designed to essentially stimulate and encourage their physical, cognitive, and social skills.

Our in-home service, led by a qualified and experienced specialist, provides just that.

Available seven days a week, sustaining caregivers with just-in-time respite for their loved one as needed.
